All I-57 southbound lanes are open at this location (MP 181). I-57 N/B continues to be blocked with northbound traffic being diverted at the Neoga exit (MP 177). Estimated time till reopening N/B lanes is less than 1 hour.
Earlier: As of 4:45PM
ISP D-10 Units are responding to a crash on I-57 near Milepost 181 in southern Coles County. The property damage only crash involves two semis and due to debris from the crash, both I-57 Northbound and I-57 Southbound are blocked at this point. Officers are working to set up a diversion and clear the roadway as soon as possible. Please seek an alternate route for now.
