3,500-Year-Old Mummy Of Egyptian King Digitally Unwrapped
(Cairo) — Egyptian scientists have digitally unwrapped a 35-hundred-year old mummy. It’s the first time anyone has seen the mummified remains of the pharaoh Amenhotep the First since the mummy was discovered in 1881. The scientists found that the pharaoh was around 35 years old and about five and-a-half feet tall when he died. He had a narrow chin, a small narrow nose, curly hair, and mildly protruding upper teeth. The scientists found 30 amulets and a unique gold girdle within the wrappings.
