475K Tesla Vehicles Recalled
(Austin, TX) — Almost half a million Tesla cars are being recalled. The recall of all Model 3 vehicles from 2017 to 2020 is due to camera and trunk issues. Opening and closing the trunk may damage the cable harness for the rear-view camera. That could lead to no image being available. Nearly 120-thousand Model S cars are also being recalled. This is due to the hood possibly opening unexpectedly due to a front-trunk latch that doesn’t work properly. Both problems will be fixed at no cost to car owners.
