National Weather Service Lincoln IL has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for Knox-Stark-Peoria-Marshall-Woodford-Fulton-Tazewell-McLean-Schuyler-Mason-Logan-De Witt-Piatt-Champaign-Vermilion-Cass-Menard-Scott-Morgan-Sangamon-Christian-Macon-Moultrie-Douglas-Coles-Edgar-Shelby-Cumberland-Clark-Effingham-Jasper-Crawford-Clay-Richland and Lawrence counties
DENSE FOG ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST THIS MORNING…
* WHAT…Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
* WHERE…Central and southeast Illinois.
* WHEN…From 3 AM to 10 AM CST Friday.
* IMPACTS…Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Areas from the Illinois River Valley northwestward could see slippery road conditions on untreated roadways, especially bridges and overpasses, from temperatures near or slightly below freezing.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… If driving, slow down, use low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
