FBI Task Force Searches For Leftover Explosives In Missouri
(St. Louis, MO) — An FBI task force is targeting leftover explosives found on properties in Missouri. Law enforcement in St. Louis have launched an operation to get rid of things like mines or grenades from wars in the past. Officials found three Civil war era cannonballs in the Mississippi River and said even though they’re from the 1860s, they can still pack a punch. More of the common explosives found are claymore mines and grenades. Authorities urge those who happen to find one of these bombs to stay far away and contact local law enforcement.
