Officials Recommending All Motorists to Stay Off the Douglas County Roads
Due to deteriorating roadway conditions Douglas County Law Enforcement officials, the Douglas County Engineer, and the Douglas County Highway Commissioners are recommending that all motorist stay off of the roads for the duration of this storm event.
Snow plows will be out clearing Douglas County Highways, Township Roadways, and City Streets as they are able to due to the conditions.
The Highway Authorities have coordinated with the Douglas County Sheriff’s office for any assistance needed for Emergency Service calls.
