3:40pm Update: ISP I-74 E/B @ MP 164 is completely blocked due to a multiple semi crash
3:30pm Update: Illinois State Police District 10 Troopers are working numerous crashes throughout the District 10 area due to the weather and road conditions. I-74 Eastbound at milepost 164 is currently closed due to multiple truck tractor semi trailers and will be closed for an extended amount of time.TRAVEL ON I-74 BETWEEN MILE MARKER 16O (MANSFIELD AREA) AND MILEPOST 180 (CHAMPAIGN) IS HIGHLY DISCOURAGED AND SHOULD BE FOR EMERGENCY PURPOSES ONLY. NUMEROUS CRASHES AND WHITEOUT CONDITIONS ARE MAKING TRAVEL EXTREMELY DANGEROUS IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE
