- MAPPING Program: Mattoon In Motion will be having an update of the MAPPING Program starting next Thursday from 5:00 pm until 8:30 pm at Elevate CCIC, Inc. As a refresher the original MAPPING Program started back in 2017 and has over 100 local volunteers who are working on making Mattoon a great place to work, visit, live and raise a family. Mattoon in Motion has had several success stories including the creative of Elevate CCIC Inc.; The innovative entrepreneurial center in the Cross County Mall. The upcoming Mattoon Dog Park, the paved Lincoln Prairie Trail path, the Mattoon Tree Commission and some of the programming of the new LIFT Education Center all were supported by Mattoon In Motion.
