Gov. Holcomb Signs Law Removing Permit Requirements To Carry A Handgun
(Indianapolis, IN) — Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb is signing a bill into law that allows people to carry a handgun without a permit. The bill was passed by legislators two weeks ago. Under the new law, possession of a handgun is still illegal for those already banned from owning firearms. Indiana State Police is still encouraging Hoosiers to apply for and maintain a firearms permit to help law enforcement.
