Parents Of Child Found Dead In Peoria Plead Not Guilty To Murder

(Peoria, IL) — The parents of an eight-year-old boy found dead last month inside his Peoria home are pleading not guilty to murder charges. Stephanie Jones and Brandon Walker entered the not guilty plea yesterday in Peoria County court. Navin Jones died after he was found unresponsive at his parents’ home on North Gale Avenue on March 29th. The Peoria County Coroner determined Navin died due to physical abuse and neglect. A bond hearing is set to take place next Thursday.
