The Sullivan (IL) Fire Department has formed a new cadet program designed to introduce young men and women to the fire service. The program is open to 16 to 18-year-olds, with certain criteria for 15-year-olds. For more information or to pick up an application, call 217-728-8714 or stop by the fire station on West Harrison. An informational meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the firehouse.
