2022 Relay for Life of Coles County Set for August 20th

We are ramping up for the 2022 Relay For Life of Coles County and we need teams, survivors and you to join us!   Our theme this year is a game theme and it goes like this:  “LIFE may be a TWISTER but SORRY Cancer we’re in it to win it!”.

The event will be held at Peterson Park, Mattoon on Saturday, August 20^th from 3pm to 10pm.  We will have games, of course, entertainment, opening ceremony, Luminaria ceremony and Survivor recognition.  We would love to have you and your team join us!

We need help with planning and set up.  We will be meeting Monday, June 20^th at Peterson Park Pavilion to do Campsite selection and then we will discuss the event and any ideas you may have for making the event bigger and better.  We need you, Relay needs you, Cancer Survivors need you, and those who have lost the battle to cancer need you to be their voice.  So please join us in the fight against cancer and let’s win the game by finding a cure!!!  Join us on August 20^th at the Park!  Any questions can be directed to Jessica Seeley at 217-254-5049 or Kathy Beals at 217-273-1687.
