Celebrate Summer Read at the Charleston Carnegie Public Library with our “Read Beyond the Beaten Path” themed crafts this July! Summer crafts will be available to make at the library Saturday, July 2 – Sunday, July 3, or, if you prefer to make your craft at home, pick up your crafts from the KidSpace desk July 2 – July 31. Make & Take/Take & Make crafts are designed for children ages 3-12. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Limit of one craft per child, while supplies last.
Supplies you will need at home for the crafts are safety scissors, glue/glue stick/tape/stapler, and crayons/colored pencils. Parental supervision is advised. Instructions are included.
