The Village of Farina will celebrate Independence Day Sunday, July 3rd, with a party in the park. Food stands and the beer garden open at noon; parade at 3:00; inflatables, pony rides, kids’ games and bingo all get going at 4:00. There’s a cake walk at 4:00; live music by the John and Dave Duo at 5:15, followed by the Matt Poss Band at 7:30. A raffle drawing will be held at 9:15 and the fireworks show will start around 9:30.
