Christ’s Food Pantry and the First Christian Church of Lovington are now offering the Reaching Rural Veterans initiative, a new effort to address needs of low-resource and at-risk rural veterans in Moultrie County. Reaching Rural Veterans events will take place every third Thursday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at 310 South County Street in Lovington. Information and benefits will include: A county veteran service officer, mental health providers, faith community leaders, and the University of Illinois Extension.
