Lots of interesting things to do this Weekend.
- Run For the Fallen- Event runs from 7 am until 1 pm at the Charleston High School Track. Free event for all to run or walk a mile to honor a fallen Illinois soldier.
- Mattoon Community Dog Park – The Mattoon Community Dog Park Committee will be holding a groundbreaking event at 11:30 at the new Dog Park location on the 200 block of Shelby Avenue. (Across the Street from Albin Animal Hospital). The Goal is to have the park completed by the middle of August for public use.
- The Coles County Airport Airshow– The Coles Count Airport will be holding their Airshow 2022, starting at 11 am this Saturday. They always have some amazing military and private airships showcased for everyone to see. You can check out some of the participants on their Facebook page.
