Extra Hour Of Voting In Texas
(Houston, TX) — A judge is ordering polling locations near Houston, Texas, stay open an extra hour. A lawsuit filed on Tuesday evening said broken polling machines, long lines, and closed locations made voting very difficult in parts of the state. That lawsuit came after voters were advised to avoid 20 Houston-area voting locations that didn’t have enough paper to print ballots. To make up for the obstacles, the county is keeping voting locations open for an extra hour tonight, until eight p.m. Central time.
