Police Release Time Line For Shooting Response
(Seattle, WA) — Seattle Police were on the scene at Ingraham High School within four minutes of the shooting on Tuesday that claimed the life of a student. The report of shots fired at the school came in at 9:55 a.m. and officers arrived four minutes later. Police Chief Adrian Diaz says they immediately entered the school. The shooting happened about 100 feet from one of the entrances. They found the victim and started first aid. Medics arrived within ten minutes. The student later died at a hospital. The suspect was found about an hour later at a bus stop. Police found a gun in the person’s backpack. They aren’t saying whether the suspect was a student. They believe it was a targeted attack.
