Effingham Public Library and AARP Offering Free Tax Preparation and Return Assistance

The Effingham Public Library is partnering with the A-A-R-P Tax Aide Program to provide free tax preparation and return assistance to low to moderate income taxpayers.  The services will be offered on Wednesdays in February, March and April by appointment.  The first day will be February 15^th, and they’ll start scheduling appointments on February 1^st.  For more information or to make an appointment, call 217-342-2464 extension 1.
