Prom/Homecoming Dress Sale
Moultrie-Douglas County Fair Pageant Prom and Dress Sale will be held February 17th-19th, 2023 at a NEW location, Market Place Shopping Center (Kohl’s Plaza), Champaign, IL. (Former Dress Barn Location – next to Maurice’s)
This is the 10th year for this fundraiser formerly held at the Tuscola Outlet Mall. The profit of this fundraiser goes to the new Miss Moultrie-Douglas County Fair Queen for her scholarship. On average, we collect over 400 dresses and sell over 100 dresses per year. Young ladies from all over East Central Illinois, the Chicago area, Southern Illinois, St. Louis, Ohio, and foreign exchange students have shopped this event. We have even had military wives/girlfriends purchase gowns for their upcoming military ball.
How does this work? You bring all your prom and homecoming dresses that you would like to sell, Your cost is $10.00 cash per dress. You set the price that you want to sell your dress for and 100% of the profit goes to you. You will come back on Sunday, February 19 to pick up your unsold dresses. Cash is the only form of payment accepted. This event helps young ladies clean out their closets and helps another young lady find the perfect dress.
We will start collecting dresses on February 10 from 6:00-8:00 pm. We will collect dresses on the 11th and 12th from 11:00 am-4 pm. The sale begins Friday, February 17th from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. The sale will continue on the 18th from 11:00 am to 8 pm and on the 19th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Pickup will be on Sunday, February 19th, 4:00 pm-5:00 pm.
