Bagelfest can’t happen without volunteers, so if you’d like to help out, they’d love to have ya! You can sign up for a three-hour shift in the souvenir and information tent; help out with the bagel breakfast; or be an usher at one or more of the concerts (…and you’ll get to stay and watch the concert for free!) Student volunteers or those needed proof of hours will receive an official certificate with the hours worked, and all volunteers get a free t-shirt with this year’s Star Wars theme, “Return of the Bagel.” Call Mattoon Tourism at 1-800-500-6286 to get signed up.
