Leaf collection in Mattoon will begin Monday, November 13, and conclude on Friday, December 8, 2023.
Monday pick-up will be in the northwest zone; Tuesday in the northeast zone; Wednesday in the southeast zone; and Thursdays in the southwest zone. Leaves must be in 30-gallon paper yard waste bags and placed within ten feet of the curb of a public street by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled day.
If you’d rather dispose of the leaves yourself, you’re welcome to drop them off at the yard waste facility, which is open during daylight hours.
