SUMMARY
Responsible for maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment in specified areas.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fast response for troubleshooting machine issues when line tech calls(cycle time slow, quality issues, repeated faults)
- Repairing or rebuilding of broken parts
- Assist other technicians and operators with any issues requested.
- Assist with engineering improvements while implementing those improvements
- Fabrication, machining, and welding as required
- Preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Follow all safety procedures all of the time.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain clean and safe working environment.
- Teamwork is essential.
- Changeovers on machines may be required at times

- Employee must be able to carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds.
- Must also be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Degree and/or certificate in college or vocational school with focus on mechanical or electrical field preferred.
- Knowledge of PLC’s, frequency drives, and servo controls in automated machinery a plus.
- Experience using fabrication workshop equipment a plus. (ex. lathe, mill, drill press, band saw)
- Use a broad range of hand tools to perform maintenance work on productions machines and related equipment.
- Installation, trouble shooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Operational experience of automated equipment.
