Community Block Party Hosted by Mattoon Unit #2 Birth-3 Looking for Additional Participants

Would you like to help connect families to resources in our community? MCUSD Bitrh-3 program wants to create a fun event for families. We are looking for programs, resources, and small businesses to participate in this event, which will take place on June 12th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the LIFT Building in the parking lot.

Each program would provide information to parents regarding your program or business. In addition, you would have an activity for children to participate in. Some activities could include bean bag toss, sidewalk chalk, children’s games, face painting, coloring sheets, etc.

We will provide all attendees with a hotdog, chips, cookies, and drinks. Additional food trucks will be available for purchase onsite.

Each participant will be recognized in advertisements and social media for participation. Please let us know if you plan on participating and what your child’s activity will be. More information will be sent out closer to the date.
