Coles County Historical Society Annual Meeting, January 18, 2026
The Coles County Historical Society’s annual meeting will be held Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 2 p.m., in the Lone Elm Room at the Depot. Bill Lovekamp will be speaking on the 1917 tornado that caused devastation to Mattoon and Charleston. There is no cost to attend, and everyone is welcome.
