Welcome to the Charleston Carnegie Public Library’s Summer Read! This year’s theme is Plant a Seed, Read!, and we invite our community members of all ages to participate (adults, kids, teens, babies, parents, grandparents, EVERYONE!)!
Entries accepted June 1-August 2, 2026
What is it? A weekly reading program. Read 2 hours or more each week to earn a weekly prize and chances to win grand prizes!
How do I read along? No registration or library card required. Submit your weekly reading online at www.charlestonlibrary.org. Please ask staff for any help with submissions.
All Entries must be entered by 11:59 p.m., Sunday, August 2nd.
Grand prizes will be drawn on Wednesday, August 5th.
All winners will be called and notified. Weekly & grand prizes must be picked up by Monday, August 24th.
