Lake Land College is holding a summer volleyball camp for children ages 6 through high school. The camp will be held across two weeks, July 20 – 23 and July 27 – 30, at Emerald Acres Sports Connection, located at 1201 Woodell Way in Mattoon.
The camp will give players of all skill levels the chance to develop their abilities, improve their fundamentals and explore the game of volleyball with immersive drills and structured training. Campers will be placed into four separate groups based on age, and the camp will be divided each day into four sessions, one for each age group:
| Age Group | Camp Time (applies for every camp day) |
| 10 and under | 9 – 10 a.m. |
| 11 years old and 6th grade | 10:15 – 11:45 a.m. |
| 7th and 8th grade | 12:30 – 2 p.m. |
| High School | 2:15 – 3:45 p.m. |
The cost to attend the camp is $100 for players ages 10 and under, and $150 for all other age groups. The cost includes all eight days of the camp, and all campers who register by July 9 will also receive a commemorative T-shirt.
Registration is limited to 100 campers per age group. Campers can register now and pay securely online at https://host.nxt.blackbaud.com/donor-form?svcid=renxt&formId=823e3f21-7460-42f6-b13b-f8b003efec71&envid=p-rbyEtvWUqUS_bmXg-DjxSw&zone=usa.
