Summary:

In depth understanding of injection molding processes and machinery. Ability to change tooling, set up machines, and monitor for accurate process and cycle times of machinery.

Primary Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

Set up and change injection tooling
Simple preventative maintenance of tooling
Set up assembly stations to produce product

Safety:

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the facility through good housekeeping practices.
Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines.

Other:

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
Two to five years of experience in injection molding environment.
Effective verbal and written communications skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Self-motivation.

Physical Demands:

Employee must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds and push or pull up to 150 pounds. Employee must have the ability to complete the following repetitive tasks. Percent involved in each applicable activity is noted.
