CHS, MHS Volleyball Teams Donate to SBL
The Mattoon and Charleston high school volleyball teams recently donated $2,535 to the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Foundation, to benefit the Regional Cancer Center.
The teams’ donation will be used to help people who are unable to pay for items associated with their care while undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation.
The teams raised funds through their annual ‘Volley for a Cure’ game. Since 2013, more than $40,000 has been raised to benefit Regional Cancer Center patients.
